As the city wakes up old women open their windows to te new day, small shops with charming window sets are about to start business, while nuns and priests walk downtown to go to their seminaries or to the Vatican City.

Nowadays there are hundreds of artists beautifully performing downtown Rome, as people from all over the world admires them, laugh with them, take selfies or just stroll around creating new interesting scenes every other second. Then there are the small artisans shops, with old people still hand working wood or marble to create astonishing art.

This is street photography in Rome. This is the most difficult of all tours because beauty, as much as mystery and charm, are in the eye of the beholder and in the ability to capture the moment and freeze it on your camera sensor.

Street photography is challenging, it’s a bet, a gamble, a surprise…. but if you have fun in putting your skills on the line, this is one of the most rewarding tours you can have.

And, don’t worry, I will lead you through it with enthusiasm, since this is my favorite style and I love to walk through morning markets, the narrow streets of Trastevere and the squares of Rome, where life happens.

Street photography is capturing life as it unfolds. What a bliss!
